Get a daily car insurance policy to give you short term cover for anywhere between 1 and 28 days. You can then drive your friends or families car for the specified amount of time. If you want someone else to drive your car you can insure them to drive you.
You can only get temp car cover if you are at least 25 years of age. If you are under 21 and need daily insurance then why not get a pay as you go car insurance policy. You pay only a month at a time and can cancel whenever you want, this will give you the temporary cover that you need without having to get a full annual policy.
