1 to 28 day temp car cover

Day Insurance Under 23

You may be looking for day insurance under 23 years old. Getting a daily insurance policy for younger drivers can be difficult but if you are 21 or over you may be able to get day insurance.

Most insurance companies that specialise in short term car insurance do have some restrictions. If you are a lady in your thirties and looking to temporarily insure a small town car you are probably not going to run into any problems. If you are under 21 then it is currently not possible to take out a daily insurance policy. This may change in the future but for now you are going to have to wait until you are 21 or over. In the mean time you may want to consider a pay as you go policy which is the closest alternative type of insurance offering insurance a month at a time.

Under 23 insurance

So if you are under 23 but at least 21 years old then there are several insurers that will be able to provide you with a 1 day insurance policy. You can of course get this type of short term cover for up to 28 consecutive days if needed.

You will have to meet the insurers prerequisites however which do vary between different insurers. If you are a young driver looking to insure a performance, modified or high insurance group vehicle then you may not be able to do so. Even though you can get insured for most cars insurers tend to restrict car insurance for under 23's to car up to a certain group which generally tends to be around group 15.

If you are unsure as to whether they will cover you it is best to complete their insurance quote form and provide your details. This way they will either refuse you cover or provide you with an appropriate premium. As with all car insurance the premium will be based on the individual insurers deciding risk factors.
